Le sujet c'est "In a last paragraph imagine what happened to Désirée"

Some weeks later Armand Aubigny understood that he had make a mistake. He understood that he had black origins because of his mother who is cursed with the brand of slavery. At this moment he was fallen, he realised that he had destoyed his life and his marriage. He decided to looked for Désirée and his baby to restart a new life.

He drove over to La Blanche to see Désirée and the baby but when he arrived in the residence he understood that there was something who menacing his peace. After a discussion with Madame Valmondé, he went to L'Abri and commanded his slavery to looked for Désirée and his baby.

Zandrine, the slave who had take care of the baby said to Armand that his wife went in the direction of the bayou the day of their quarrel.

The words of Zandrine had totally upset him, he decided however to go in search of his wife. When he arrived at the bayou, he found the body of his wife spread on the ground, her arms surrounded the small body of his son.

Désirée had a relaxed face, she seemed to sleep. Armand realized that he had pushed his wife to the suicide, she was died and she had taken with her the weight of a guilt of which she was not guilty.
