Bonjour,

Tu me donnes des frissons. Qu’est-ce qu’on fait?

- Tu bois quelque chose ?

- Allons danser, proposa Marc Alby.

- Je suis fatiguée, dit Juliette. Le métro, ça m’épuise.

When Gladys entered the coffe she carried a bag in each hand. Marc Alby rose, Gladys put down her bags, Juliette lit up another cigarette, .I toke off = (remove) my glasses and wiped glasses with a paper hanky. My friend (introduce us) = made the presentations. Gladys embraced me on the cheek and shook hand of Juliette. She sat down beside me, put her elbows on the table, tightened her face towards my friend and reproachfully said:

“Darling, I feel as if you betray me.”

“It’s a mistake," say Juliette, "Marc and me are only friends.”

“So, you don’t know what you lose: Marc is a marvellous lover!”

“It is say” said my friend before carrying his empty glass to his mouth and breaking up the ice cube with his teeth.

“Stop,” exclaim = (cry out )Glasys, “ you make me shudder. What we do?”

“You drink something.”

“Lemonade and mint.”

Gladys wore a red trousers and jacket. She had got brown and curly hair. Her face was round with harmonious features but without been particularly refined.

On the fly, I should have been unable to describe her face.

“Shall we go dancing,” suggested Marc Alby.

“I’m tired,” said Julliette, “the subway exhausts me.”
