La femme est restée où elle était, les écoutant parler entre eux, leurs voix denses et désqordonnées parce que leurs bouches étaient pleines de viande.

En général, tu restes trop près du mot à mot dont il faut parfois savoir s'éloigner.

Attention aussi à certaines impropriétés ou erreurs dues à une mauvaise utilisation du dictionnaire.

Je pense notamment à l'expression "on the other hand" qui se traduit par "d'autre part".

On the one hand..., on the other hand... = D'une part..., d'autre part... Rien à voir donc avec la main !

Plutôt un grand bravo pour votre courage, je tenterai plus de visualiser la scène, vous avez raison. Par contre je suis déçue d'être tombée dans le piège de 'on the other hand', je connais l'expression et je m'imaginais davantage une main...Enfin! il faudra que je m'applique plus la prochaine fois.
