Hi,

Can someone explain me what I have to do. I don’t understand. 

 

Questions concerning the adaptation and integration of the family into Quebec society can relate to the reorganization of daily tasks, the difficulty of finding adequate housing, the shock of family values (which?), The likeness of certain holidays, how to dress children, discipline, proximity or distance from relatives, getting closer to family members, mother's obligation to work, raising children (girls, boys) .etc.
 
 In your opinion, what elements of Quebec culture in relation to family life are appreciated or questioned by immigrant families (role of mother, father, changes that children undergo)? What are the main difficulties of immigrant families in their efforts to integrate into a host society (whether this one is Quebec or another)?
 
  How do you explain these difficulties, from a sociological point of view (refer to the notions seen in the course ie, culture, socialization and family models,)?
