Spaces and exchange

         I am going to talk about the notion of “Spaces and exchanges”. Spaces can refer to geographical territories like borders, countries. Exchanges are composed of different types: the trade is a commercial exchange or movement of people or communication.

In class, we asked ourselves: “How are new ways to connect people changing their lives?”

Foremost, I present a website called Home Exchanges.com. Then, I will talk about Erasmus. Finally, I present an application called Leftover swap.

 

The first document is a page from a website called Home Exchanges.com. It has composed of four pictures and some text. The goals of this document is to incite people to join the community and to inform how home exchange works. There are three steps: the first you have to show your house flat off and to the list. The second is you see other houses and chat through the messaging system of the site. The last step is you chose like-minded members to make your exchange a success. There are must positive thinks for example; you can save up money thanks to have because you don’t have to pay for your accommodation. It’s cheaper.

The second document is a video about ERASMUS, is a exchange langustic by the Europe. The university students can go and study in another European country or they can do a work placement. They are stay in another from 3 months to 12 months and 24 months maximum. They don’t have to pay for the university fees, they can get a grant.

The last document is an innovative application to give or exchange its surplus food with neighbours via his smartphone called Leftover swap. The giver posted a picture of the food and the taker views the area that interests; it is created to reduce food waste. The giver does not want to eat the same food for days and can earn some money. For the taker meal is cheaper, its budget friendly if you have a fight budget. The creator of the site is an ecologist, because 40% of food is wasted in the USA.

 

 To conclude, we can consider that the globalization have a massive role in terms of exchange. Indeed, thanks to new tool such as internet, for example share all around the world in a very short time.  However, this phenomenon has some positive and negative impact.

Des fautes monstrueuses en grammaire, des phrases qui n'en sont pas, autant de lacunes que tu as intérêt à combler incessamment, faute de quoi tu vas droit dans le mur à l'examen écrit. Même s'il est bien tard, il n'est pas trop tard pour limiter les dégâts.
