I'm going to talk about the notion Idea of progress. To begin with, I'd like to give a definition of progress. The idea of progress basically consists in believing that the world can become better in terms of art, science, technology, liberty, and quality of life. However, sometimes progress causes more problems than it solves .Consequently, we are coing to weigh the positive and negatives aspects of progress, in science , in medicine and in new technologies.

The progress is always positive ?

 

I would like to speak especially to the environment, a topic on the production of energy and ecology . To illustrate this theme, I chose two documents I have studied in class . The first document is an image << United states , New York , Manhattan, the High Line Park is a form elevated rail line as an aerial partally renovated urban park >> the second document will 1texte << The Hiffington post 9/19 / 11 >> or the idea of progress , is well represented

The image of the book shows the change in New York City and the United Manattan State. We can see in this image a parking cinema park ..
The cities we were renovated in order to attract as many people this makes parties of environmental progress. This has been renovated .

The second document is a text that speaks of a university that was established is one of the greenest buildings in the United Kingdom . They were built for the young. Each building has to use energy monitors and uses solar energy to heat hot water. The building is green which is good ecology. The building is greenness is both in the construction and in the design. Finally progress can be good and as bad . Although progress in the vision of ecology has contributed much as they can now consumed less . But on the other hand progress has a dark side and may even isolate ourselves from society , I am talking here of a high price , if not the means , and these change. So the progress is not always good.
