Correction d'un petit texte

Bonjour,

En anglais je dois faire un petit texte qui répond à la question: Should we try to make Mars the new Earth if it were possible ?

Pourriez-vous me corriger mon texte ? Merci beaucoup !

For centuries people have speculated about the possibility of living on Mars. The reasons are that Mars is the closest planet to the Earth and its living conditions are quite similar to our planet. But the question is, should we try to make Mars the new Earth if it were possible ?

 

Although the conditions over Mars are quite similar to the Earth, the two planets are very different and it would be difficult for humans to live in an hostile environment combining extreme cold, unbreathable atmosphere, low gravity and intense radiation. Because of these extreme conditions we have to wear a spacesuit each time we want to leave the spacial base. I find it is an important constraint and I find it dangerous too. A damage in your spacesuit or even in the spacial base can be fatal.

 

We see that a human couldn't survive without technology and technology is extremely costly.

I think that it is necessary to take it into consideration. We can use money for other purposes on Earth for example: ecology, better use of resources, better use of places, ...

I think we can do a lot on Earth to live in better conditions and I find it's most important than to use this money to live on Mars.

 

Finally I don't like the fact of colonizing a new planet. Humans have already made many damages on Earth, it will be the same on a new planet. By studying Mars or other planets in their current natural state, we can learn a lot about their history and also learn more about our own world in that context.

 

In conclusion I find that humans should not try to make Mars the new Earth. First the conditions are hostile for humans, secondly this project would be extremely costly and finally I think Mars should be protected from humans damages.
