Hi everyone !

So, we have to do a poem for tomorrow by using the same pattern as 'The Rum Tum Tugger'

I just wanted to know if I did any faults/mistakes. If you could tell me wich faults/mistakes I made, it would be very nice of you !

The poem :

My parents are terrible bores

If I close my bedroom's door, they'd rather I opened it

If I let it opened, then they would rather close it

If I eat too fast, they'd rather I ate more slowly

If I eat too slow(ly?), then they'd rather I did the contrary

If I speak too much, they'd rather I stopped it

But if I don't speak, then they'd rather I did it !

If I eat too slow(ly?), then they'd rather I did the contrary <slow peut avoir à la fois la nature adjectif et adverbe et le gain d'une syllabe peut être intéressant dans un poème.
