Kabir plays cricket. True, he is in the university cricket team. When she is told Kabir's name, Lata immediately realizes the consequences. False, she says "So what". Lata's sister stops eating to listen. True, she puts down her fork and her knife. Lata speaks in a very angry tone of voice. False, she speaks evenly. Malati feels sad for Lata.
