J'aimerais beaucoup que vous me corrigiez mon texte, je pense qu'il y a beaucoup de fautes dedans... Hi everybody! My name is Iona and I passed two weeks in England with the TV program. First, I visited the tower bridge which is the oldest touristic attraction in England and the legends say if the crows left the tower so the tower collapse. Then, I went Shakespeare’s house in Stratford upon Avon Finally, I visited central business district in England where there are a lot of skyscrapers. French people have a lot of stereotypes about the English as : They are said shy, cold and unfriendly; they are called roast beef; The English love tea; the English don’t hurt your feeling; their favorites sports it’s the cricket and the fair-play. There are a lot of stereotypes about their but some stereotypes are false. The English aren’t hypocritical and cold. Henry the 8th was born in 1491 in Greenwich Palace, He was a king of England. Henry had an old brother and two sisters. Henry speaks four languages: Latin, French, Spanish and Greek. Henry wore a dagger which represents the power. He had six wives: the first wife is Katherine of Aragon they divorced, the second was executed, the third was died, with the fourth they divorced, the fifth was executed and the last survived. Now In England the queen, Elizabeth II who lives in Buckingham palace reigns but doesn’t rule. Parliament is the most important authority in Britain. In England there are three powers: legislative, executive with the prime minister who live at 10 Downing Street and judicial. During my two weeks I had the chance to eat different dish typical of England The first dish it’s a fast food, it’s savoury and there are fish, chips, and mashed peas. You guessed it I talk about fish and chips! The second dish it’s the cream tea with scones, jam, and, tea, batter it’s sweet and scrumptious. It’s a tea time And the third dish it’s the breakfast with fried eggs, tomatoes, slices of bacon and sausages it’s a copious breakfast because for the English it’s the most important dinner in the day I hope that my article was interesting and now you want to go in England.
