In another part a journalist talks about the Dr Mark Hughes: he is a fertility doctor in California who uses this practice to help couples. We call it PGD thats mean pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. He start to help couples 3 years ago with approximately one or 2 selection in a month. Now he realizes 10 selections in a week. Most of doctors refuse to practice this just for sex selection but for Dr Hughes its not a problem because screen embryos isnt illness or suffering, for him its just a question of business.

In my opinion this is good to choose the sex of the baby but its not essential. Its not a constraint to have a boy or a girl, the most important is to have a healthy baby.
