Bonjour,

J'ai un exercice à faire en anglais. Le but étant d'écrire une lettre ce que j'ai fait. Voici le sujet : "Daren, a young man from London, has found a job in San Francisco. A few days after his arrival he writes a letter to his fiancée back home in London. He tells of his surprise, his satisfaction, his regrets, his hopes. Write his letter.

Dear Laura,

Here it is. The step is taken. We talked so long about this working in America. I'm really happy and excited by the discovery of this unique city, located in California. Did you know that SF was founded in 1776? and that the city actually takes off during the gold rush? Surprising, no?

I am satisfied with the idea of discovering a new world filled with stories. Truth be told, I have no regrets, except for the fact of being so far from you.Anyway, you can contact us through the phone. I will not forget you. I in fact intend you bring a small gift from there down, because you will miss me. I also believe that it was the perfect time to leave.

I'm arrived in high hopes but I worried. I have many projects, and I want to meet new people. I'll also make multiple photographs and a short film, and we visionnerons together all on my return. I have already organized what my stay regarding sightseeing, so this trip brings me more than the approval of the change of scenery, i.e. enrichment long term in addition to my work. I will therefore leave you by this letter and tell you that I would have necessarily changed on my return, culturally enriched by this magnificent country.

What about you Laura? What's new in London? I can't wait to hear from you!Waiting to celebrate our happy reunion, and eager to share with you my discoveries in the USA, I embrace you.
