Voila j'ai rédigé un petit texte pour répondre à la question: Explain why there are such things as war memorials and war commemorations. Can they help heal people who have suffered? (120 worlds)

War memorials and war commemorations are important for people who participated at the evenements as much as people who don't live at this age in order to understand what happened. In other words, we have to learn from our mistakes.

It is also essential to remember people who fought for our country, to make a better tomorow. Today all the fighter of the first world war are dead but the public holyday which commemorates the victory is still present. We can ask questions about it. This public holyday was for people who live the war and who suffer from it, we don't deserve this, do we ?

French are too lazy to delete / revoke the public holyday and just keep on celebrating this day...

I don't think war memorials or war commemorations help people. We should move forward/go ahead without looking in our past. Take this exemple, today we maintain the concentration camp of Auswitch, without this reparation he will collapse. Why spend money so as to show people the horrors of the past?

War memorials and war commemorations are important for to people who participated at the evenements in such events as much as to people those who don't live at this age weren't born in those days in order for them to understand what happened. In other words, we have to learn from our mistakes.

It is also essential to remember people who fought for our country, to make a better tomorow. This public holiday was for people who lived the war and who suffered from it but we don't deserve this it, do we?

Merci beaucoup pour cette correction,Je vais peut etre enlever les lazy french aprés reflexion sa pourrait ne pas plaire et sa raccourcira un peu. Je ne pensais pas avoir fait autant d'erreurs j'ai passé beaucoup de temps a me relire et a chercher les expressions . Comment fais tu pour trouver le verbe le plus adapté? A l'oreille? Tu as peut etre un site à me conseiller pour les expressions? J'utilise world reference.

J'ai également rédigé ce texte cette après midi, mais les reflexions que le sujet m'a inspiré sont compliqué à rediger en Anglais. Si tu peux jeter un coup d'oeil également ?

In my opinion, I would rather say that I am not in agreement with this question. It is often said that history eternally repeats itself.

We have to learn from the past. Today a war between European people is inconceivable. What is the reason ? WWI and WWII are etched into the memory forever.

In closing, I would say that Humanity is history. Where will we be without history ? All is about history. Our names, our languages, our country, our moral. How can we understand today's world if we don't know what occurred in the past. We must learn from past failings and ensure that it will not happen again. History can help us thinking about today's world and about the world of tomorrow. We should not forget but we must forgive.

Comment fais tu pour trouver le verbe le plus adapté? A l'oreille? Tu as peut etre un site à me conseiller pour les expressions? J'utilise world reference. Une bonne connaissance de la langue, une longue pratique ainsi qu'un bon dictionnaire sont mes seuls "outils". word reference n'est pas mal.
