Melanie66 Posté(e) le 13 janvier 2013 Signaler Posté(e) le 13 janvier 2013 Bonsoir, Pouriez vous m'aidez à faire quelque exercices sur un texte. Merci pour votre aide. Australian students Can you please introduce yourselves? Kate : My name is Kate. I’m 17 years old and I’m from Sydney. I have five people in my family: my parents and two brothers – who are extremely annoying! I go to Loretto High School in Sydney, near the Harbour Bridge, and I’ve been going there for four years. I will graduate at the end of this year. Aimee : And I’m Aimee, I’m 17, I go to Loretto as well. I have one younger sister, one younger brother and my parents. I live in Sydney, too. And I hope to graduate this year, too ! What’s your favourite part of high school ? Kate : I really like the social life, especially this year because there is so much work and you really want to get away from it. I definitely enjoy parties at the weekend. They’re a lot of fun. Aimee : My favourite part of high school would definitely be social life and parties where you see your friends and you feel very close to them. That’s probably the thing I will miss the most when I leave school. I also do debate club, which is like public speaking. What do you plan to do when you leave high school ? Kate : In Australia, you can take a year off, and I’m going to do that. I think I’ll go to South America. I’m going to work for the WSPA, which is the World Society for the Protection of Animals. Then I might come back and study, but I’m not sure what I want to study yet. Aimee : I’m not taking a year off. I don’t want to lose any time, so I’m going straight into university studies next year. I’m going to do an Economics and Sciences degree at Sydney University, and I hopefully will go on in International Relations or Foreign Diplomacy. Will you travel ? Kate : I’ll start travelling next year, in South America. Then I really want to travel to Europe. I’d love to go to France and put my French to the test. Aimee : I’m also interested in travelling at the end of next year and I’ll have to save up. A friend and I are going to Asia. I’d like to travel to Thailand and to Singapore. I want to see the beaches in Thailand because I’ve heard they’re fantastic ! Will you work ? Kate : At the moment, I don’t have a part-time job, I will need one soon because it’s very hard to do the things you want to do, buy things when you don’t have a job. Aimee : I’ve already had a number of part-time jobs. I’ve worked at bakeries and cafés as a waitress. Right now I work at a pharmacy. I really enjoy my job and I have a very good boss. I intend to continue working while I’m at university. I want to save up money to travel. What do you think of the idea that a lot of British students want to come to Australia to work or take a gap year before university ? Kate : I think that’s fine. It’s good for students to travel to other countries, and Australia is such a beautiful country to come to, it’s so idealistic. I think it’s great that there are so many backpackers’ places around where I live and I speak to a lot of people from different countries and different cultures. It’s great ! Aimee : I definitely think we live in the best country in the world, so it’s a very big compliment that people want to come here and take a year off. I’ve heard that the most enjoyable thing about Australia for them is the relaxed attitude of the people here. This attitude and the weather is probably what people enjoy the most. I think it definitely helps the tourism industry within the country. Yes, I agree, it’s great ! A. General Comprehension Answer the following questions : a. What is the nature of this document ?
