Bonjour, j'aurais besoin d'aide pour écrire un poème en anglais sur un faits-divers choisis. Ici est mon fait divers: "GIVE AND TAKE: A month ago, a house caught fire and the man who lived there was taken outside wearing only his underwear. Paramedic Jeff Gaglio gave him a blanket. Then, Gaglio was informed that the departement was bringing him up on charges for his action. Jerald James, chief of the Emergency Medical Service (EMS), who is responsible for Gaglio's punishment , said in defence of the charges, "We can't have an employee who feels that they have a right to give away state property without getting prior approval."

J'ai commencer mon poème mais ils me manquent des parties:

GIVE AND TAKE

All I’ve seen is a bright light,

And I didn’t know if I was alright.

Everything I had caught fire.

The flames took back my empire.

Someone threw a blanket at me,

I didn’t know who it could be.

How can you be blamed,

When you should be acclaimed?

N'étant absolument pas poète, voici néanmoins ma (pauvre) tentative de contribution dans l'espoir qu'elle t'ouvrira une piste.

GIVE AND TAKE

All I’ve seen is a bright light,

And I didn’t know if I was alright.

Everything I had caught fire.

The flames took back my empire.

I rushed out to the street for safety

Wearing nothing but my briefs.

I was not minding decency

Staying alive was my sole relief.

Someone threw a blanket to me,

I didn’t know who it could be.

As we drove off in an ambulance

I could see all the flames dance.

I’ve heard that my good Samaritan

Was charged with giving state property,

For doing so without permission

Whereas he did so out of mere bounty.

How can you be blamed,

When you should be acclaimed?
