Marioon Posté(e) le 4 janvier 2013 Signaler Posté(e) le 4 janvier 2013 bonjour monsieur JRB , j'ai recopié tous les exercices sur ordi , est ce que c'est mieux comme ça , malheureusement pour les enoncés , est ce que je peux vous les remettre en pdf , c'est mieux car ca prends vraiment beaucoup de temps . si ce n'est pas monsieur JRB , voila j'ai des exercices ou j'ai de grosses difficultes car on aurait du voir cela dans nos anciennes classes mais je ne l'ai jamais fait , pouvez vous me dire si j'ai reussi a les faire , et si j'ai des fautes merci par avance 3) the inversion construction : rewrite the following sentences , beginning the words in italics and mating the necessary changes 1)hardly had he started when ha had to come back to his starting point 2) so eager was he to go to the west coat that he'd been poring over maps for years 3) so disappointed was he that he could have cried 4) not only was he tired with walking and waiting in the rain but he was also angry at not being with his friend 5) little did he think when he started that he would be back at his starting point a few hours later 6) no sooner was he back in N-Y than he decided he would starts for chicago the next day 7) seldom had he been in such state 8) pas trouvé 9) non plus 10) in no other way can the matter be explained 11) pas trouvé 12) not only he had wasted time but he had also spent most of his money 13) so miserable looked he that the people let him in turn into reported speech 1) he said that the had saved enough to go to the west coast 2)remi wrote to him that he should come and ship with him on around the world liner 3) remi wrote to him that he could get into the engine room 4° remi said to him that he has ou had a shack in mill city 5) remi said to him that he was living ou tout simplement lived with a girl called lee ann and she was ou is a mervellous cook 6) i wrote back to remi that i was satisfied with any old freighter 7° remi said to him that he expected him to arrive in ten days 8) his aunt said to him that he've been working so hard , it will do him good pour l'exercice 2 , je n'arrive pas a placer le " provided that " , alors que so long as et on condition that sont beaucoup plus faciles à placer , est ce que lorsque je les ai placés , le sens est il bon ? 2) recast the following sentences in such was as to use : so long as , provided that , on condition that 1) i'm quite willing to give you a lift so long as you don't smoke in the car 2) 'im quite willing to give you a lift so long as you can put your rucksack in the trunk 3) i can take you to chicago on condition that you come alone 4) you can try and get a ride so long as you are in no hurry 5) you an try an thumb a lift on condition that you aren't pressed for time 6) i don't mind giving you a ride to Chicago provided that you aren't to fastidious about comfort 7) i don't mind being shaken up a bit on condition that i can be in chicago tomorrow 8° i wouldn't mind hitchhiking so long as i was sure of reaching my destination 9) id' like to go to l.a on condition that ou peut etre provided that it cost me nothing 10) i don't mind waiting for you provided that you aren't too long
3) The inversion construction: rewrite the following sentences, beginning with the words in italics and makng the necessary changes 1) Hardly had he started when he had to come back to his starting point. OK 2) So eager was he to go to the West Coast that he'd been poring over maps for years. OK 3) So disappointed was he that he could have cried. OK 4) Not only was he tired with walking and waiting in the rain but he was also angry at not being with his friend. OK 5) Little did he think when he started that he would be back at his starting point a few hours later. OK 6) No sooner was he back in N-Y than he decided he would starts for Chicago the next day. 7) Seldom had he been in such a state. OK 8) On no account would he resign himself to staying in New York. 9) Only if I can make enough money to support myself will I agree to join you in San Fran. 10) In no other way can the matter be explained. OK 11) Never will he guess what problems he will have to solve. 12) Not only had he wasted time but he had also spent most of his money. 13) So miserable did he look that the people let him in. Turn into reported speech 1) He said that the had saved enough to go to the West Coast. OK 2) Remi wrote to him that he should come and ship with him on an around-the-world liner.OK 3) Remi wrote to him that he could get him into the engine room. OK, enfin presque... 4° Remi said to told him that he has ou had a shack in Mill City. N'as-tu jamais entendu parler de la concordance des temps ? 5) Remi said to told him that he was living ou tout simplement lived with a girl called Lee Ann and she was ou is a marvellous cook. Voir ligne précédente. 6) I wrote back to Remi that I was would be satisfied with any old freighter. 7° Remi said to told him that he expected him to arrive in ten days. 8) His aunt said to told him that he've had been working so hard, it will would do him good. Le futur dans le passé se rend par le conditionnel, comme en français ! 2) Recast the following sentences in such a way as to use: so long as, provided that , on condition that 1) I'm quite willing to give you a lift so long as you don't smoke in the car. OK 2) I'm quite willing to give you a lift so long as provided that you can put your rucksack in the trunk. 3) I can take you to Chicago on condition that you come alone. OK 4) You can try and get a ride so long as provided that you are in no hurry. 5) You can try and thumb a lift on condition that so long as you aren't pressed for time. 6) I don't mind giving you a ride to Chicago provided that you aren't too fastidious about comfort. 7) I don't mind being shaken up a bit on condition that / provided that / I can be in Chicago tomorrow. OK 8° I wouldn't mind hitchhiking so long as provided that I was sure of reaching my destination. 9) I'd like to go to L.A. on condition that ou peut etre provided that it cost me nothing. 10) I don't mind waiting for you provided that you aren't too long.
Merci encore ! Marion.
