minounenette Posté(e) le 1 octobre 2012 Signaler Posté(e) le 1 octobre 2012 Bonjour, pouvez-vous me corriger, s'il vous plaît, mon expression ? Merci This snapshot shows Claudette Colvin. After a few years of silence, she tells her story on March 2nd, 1955 in Alabama. At the age of 15, she stood up alone against segregation. She refused to give her seat to a White. So, she was dragged from the bus. She was arrested and jailed. Her story happened before Rosa Parks did it but was not heard of because she was very young and pregnant. That is to say, people thought she was a bad girl. She reminds about 3 importants women like Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth. They have all been activists againt segregation. Today, she advises teenagers. She tells them that they shouldn't accept everything. She wants them to react to injustice. She has just written a book about her life and segregation. It' s called : "Claudette Colvin, Twice toward justice". Merci
