Therefore, nothing could stop her Sorrow, she was heartbroken. During a long moment, everybody except the white man, Stayed around the woman. Suddenly someone got up, et walked to the white man to speak with him.

"Everybody agrees about something…" explain the aborigine. "Moreover everybody thinks that you could try and convince Constable Riggs to let the girls with us. You have been coward!" shouted him. "That is why we have taken the following decision: you must leave the settlement." It's an order, you have not the choice" added him.

The white man tried to protest, but the aborigine was very determined.

"It's an order!" repeated him

"Well, I will obey. But I would like that you know that you can't accuse me of this taken away, it's not because I'm white that I have more power than you! I was obliged to comply with the law!"

Nobody replyed, and the white man leaft the settlement the head low. Maybe feel him guilty!
