Dear Sir or Madam, My name is Nicole, and I am 22 years old. I am living in Edinburgh. I am in my second years veterinary science in Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. I like to travel in the world so as to discover the other culture. I had already gone in South Africa and more in Europe, I like to cook and to practice sport too/ playing sport. When I was little girl, I grew up in a country side because my parents had a farm. I was ever with animal. I learnt help them. Therefore, I knew that I wanted to become vet. Before, when I was 12 years old, I walked dogs in my neighborhood, every Saturday morning. I went often in zoo to see the animals. I like that and I want to understand them. I really want to know how they are, if they are sad/sick, if they need something. Then, during my studies I have done the internship. Two trainings periods. I did my first internship at a zoo and my second a vet. Having spent my undergraduate degree, I decided to undertake studies in veterinary science. I managed to integrate the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. I really enjoyed school. Now I have acquired some knowledge, I wish I could put into practice what you taught me during those two years. During periods where I worked with animals and professionals, I always knew accepting comments. Mostly I was criticized for being very emotional. It is true that nothing can move me. I was also told that I was sometimes too obstinate by my ideas when I think to be right. But I was also told that I was very attentive to the animals and also with others when they explain to me how I could do better. I am also working with a team. I like to discuss with the rest of the team. However I can not stand that one takes me high. Thanks to African Conservation Experience, I have over felines because I have not had a chance to look into it. I would also like to acquire a new experience thanks to them. Thanks to the action that I could carry in southern Africa I would like to improve the living conditions of animals. It would, I think, beneficial to know the world the work we do. It could reduce the extermination of species extinction see. On my return to Edinburgh, I would open my veterinarian's office. I also can realize various expeditions like the one you propose. I would look also to know these trips to other people. Destinations that are intended to help those in need. Furthermore I find these trips extremely rewarding, not only for my professional experience. I am sure they also are beneficial for society. Subsequently, I would organize trips with young vets who want to learn more. Thank you for having read my query and I hope a positive response from you. Yours sincerely.
