This quotation means that the luck is not something that happens by chance. We must work to be lucky in life. Work is the key to success. The chance doesn’t fall from the sky. Luck or happiness goes to the people who can take it and look it with consciousness.

Firstly, it isn’t the chance that comes to us, but that's ourselves who are going to it. When we want something in life, we must be perseverant. I think everyone has the freedom to make choices. It would be too easy to think that everything is preordained and not to make effort to improve our life.

Some people think that they haven’t chance in their lives and that’s why they are unhappy. If you want to get over, there is only yourself to give you the means. For example, a person who is unemployed and homeless has always the possibility to pull through. There are many associations that help people and they can receive training to practise a job. At school it’s the same, if you want to succeed your school year, you must be studied. Teachers are always there to help us.

To conclude, I agree with this quotation. Luck doesn’t happen miraculously, it manifests thanks to our efforts. We have to keep a positive attitude about the life’s events and not to give up our goals.
