The most important monuments are : The golden Gate Bridge , Jail of Alcatraz, ( was called like it for Spanish because there were a lot of pelicans in this island , an Alcatraz would say pelican in Spanish ) . San Francisco is a specific city for its Victorian houses which the most famous " Painted Ladies " . The museums most remarkable are " Palace of Legion of Honor " he was build in memory of 3600 soldiers dead during the first war word . The exploitation who is the San Francisco's museum of science. Principal shops and hotels are in Market Street San Francisco is known for its first union of Gay's couple and the first city who had got a Gay's boroughs . She's also famous for its forty three hills . This city live most the night because of its record library and bars . A lot of series are shot there like Charmed , village people , Monk etc ...
