Mr. Sowerberry was a tall man, who wearing a black coat and a white stick. Oliver was bought by the man and it was an opportunity for him because Mr. Sowerberry had a good reputation. The first day, Oliver cleaned a lot of coffins. He got along well with Mr. Sowerberry. - You work well, so continue ! It is true that I did a big deal for 5 ponds ! You will have the right to dine and sleep at home tonight, said Mr Sowerberry. So he slept in the family Sowerberry the evening. For the moment he knew only the father. Oliver started to eat and suddenly , Mrs Sowerbeey emptied three quarter of the plate in a plastic bowl. She give back him the plate and told him that she could not afford to feed anyone who eats it. - What there is in this bowl will feed you all the week ! said she to him. Oliver didn’t understand. He didn’t think Mrs Sowerberry was a nasty lady. Shortly before the dinner, Mr. Sowerberry back at the table. He asked Oliver if he had liked the meal. Mrs. Sowerberry cast look bad, and Oliver said yes. After the diner, all the family went to bed. Mrs. Sowerberry She went to say good night to her children. The following morning, no sooner has mr sowerberry ast to wake up to work then she did a smirk. She come in the room to wake Twist up . - Wake up boy! said Mrs. Sowerberry - I don’t want to get up, I want to return to the workhouse! said Twist - No ! You work for us now, we have bought you ! Please ! Get up quickly if you don’t want I get worked up ! - Never! I’d rather die! cried Oliver to her Mrs. Sowerberry took a big whip and started to whip the boy. - Please Mrs. Sowerberry! I want to return to the Workhouse, drive me to the workhouse please! said Oliver. - No way! Stop crying and stand up ! said Mrs.Sowerberry to him He continued to cry and the woman would beat even stronger. - Look, if you don’t stop to cry now, I will be very nasty with you ! Oliver stopped to cry and he said : “I will go away anyway and you won’t never beat me again ! Never ! cried Oliver to her. Then, he will run until Mr Sowerberry for be safe . Merci d'avance

Simplement les regarder ou bien les corriger ? - À l'avenir, relis-toi attentivement pour éliminer les fautes de frappe et autres incohérences. - Révise tes verbes irréguliers ! - want se construit avec une proposition infinitive. EG Je veux que tu viennes = I want you to come. - never = ne...jamais avec un verbe au mode affirmatif. EG I will never leave you = Je ne te quitterai jamais. - 2 invraisemblances historiques : => 1 : Charles Dickens a publié "Oliver Twist" en 1838, soit 38 ans avant les premiers balbutiements du téléphone de M. Graham Bell en 1876. => 2 : le plastique, quant à lui, n'a été fabriqué qu'à partir de 1909, la Bakélite.
