Est ce que quelqu'un pourrait corriger mes fautes s'il vous plaît ? Merci d'avance

Subject : There are those people in the city, and we must live together.

It isn’t easy to live with the others especially in a city with a lot of different people. We have to learn the respect and the tolerance. We have to accept the differences.

There is for example a difference between girls and boys. The equality isn’t always admited. The sexism exists but a woman today can have a job with a high level of responsibility . The champion of France of knitting is a man. The roles are reversed.

The cosmopolitism is a good thing but one of the problems is the racism. The election of the new afro-american President of the USA shows an evolution in the mentality ( Slogan : A change is gonna come. Yes we can ! ). A country with several foreign languages is richer.

There are different religions too. The religious communities ( musulman, jewish, catholic ) exchange for a better understanding even if in the news there is a few examples of damages ( tags on the walls of the mosques or in the jewish cemeteries ) but it doesn’t happen often.

We can’t forget the old people. They can have for free a wheelchair or a stick or an auxiliary nurse. In France we built now some villages-seniors. Some retired do the help with homework for the schoolboys.

Something is done for the handicapped persons in general. For example in Longwy the redlight says stop for the blindmen. There are special places in the bus.We built flats without steps.

Lot of things have to be done again but we can see the progress. One day we will live all together in the peace.
