Here is the last part of my work, could you please, as usual, tell me where my mistakes are but please, don't correct them. If you also notice some things that don't seem right don't hesitate to tell me. Thanks again and again.

1st work :

Andrew,

I got your letter and I wanted to tell you I strongly believe this kind of summer holiday could be successful because children are really fond of this kind of activities. They all want to have fun and take their mind off things, so this might be a nice opportunity.

During summer holiday, French children usually relax among friends, play video games, board games and take part in summer camps when their parents can afford it.

I’ll be free this summer and I would be glad to come and help you organizing the first summer camp because as you know, I still love children. Talking about accommodation, what do you mean? Would I have a bathroom and facilities to cook? Would I also have to pay water and electricity?

Please, answer me back quickly.

Affectionately,

Mathilde

2nd work : Is the life in the country better than the one in the city?

Nowadays people often hesitate between living in the countryside and in the city. Both have many advantages and drawbacks: we have to weigh the pros and cons. Is the life in the country better than the one in the city? On the one hand we can assume life in the country must have many advantages but on the other hand, the city is attractive.

In countryside, life is said to be less stressful than in the city and many people living in big towns come to recharge their batteries with fresh air, without any pollution. Moreover, people in this environment are used to be united. Thanks to their work, they can take advantage of fresh products instead of industrial ones.

However, life in the city can also be convenient because we always have something to discover and places to go. The cultural content is incomparable and the outings are numerous. Furthermore, we are constantly able to meet and communicate with people we don’t know.

To conclude, we can put forward the fact that both of them have advantages and drawbacks, however, the opinion depends on people’s interests.
