Pourriez vous me corriger mon texte s'il vous plait? Merci d'avance.

This text is probably an article, it was published on 3 january 2008, the title is Council approves plans for Kent coal power station and the author is Jessica alfred. This headline is very suggestive, it sets the tone of this text, indeed, it refers to a coal fired and in particular ecology.

This subject is still relevant today, a lot of scientifics have seen that there is a warming of the earth caused by gas, suchas carbon dioxide, produce for example the exhaust fumes, factory ...

Today, we talk more and more about ecology and eco-friendly citizen because the planet is in danger. Indeed, the temperature increases and therefore the pole ice is melting. It's tragic because with the melting of the pole ice, the level of oceans also increases and a lot of land will be submerged.

In this text, the emphasis is on a new coal-fired power station, the first to be built in the kent, in south england. This station has to remplace an existing power station in order to produce a coal more efficiently and cleanly, as well as decrease carbon emission.

Next the author talks about a event that takes place "last year", that's to say in 2007. It's a flashback. She deals with a new means existing for develop carbon-capture thanks to a new plant that will generate enough energy to supply a lot of houses. It's an important discovery . And just after one year, council approves plans for coal power station.

For the building of a coal-fired power station, the author shows that all the world isn't agree with the council. Indeed the opponents says that a new generation of coal fired power station is a government's promise to generate more energy, it's a bad examples to the rest of the world even if it's a renewable energy.

Finally, the author talk about the organisation whose called "Green peace", for them, the clean coal technology isn't a myth, the government have to invest in clean and green alternatives.

To conclude, this text is a plea for or against the coal-fired power station. It's a important decision because it isn't only concern Kent but the planet, indeed, ecology is an international problem.
