Je sais que je m'y prends tard mais j'aimerai vraiment un peu d'aide pour corriger ma traduction, l'anglais n'étant pas la matière ou j'ai de bonnes notes il doit y avoir pas mal d'erreurs... :s

Mesdames et mesdemoiselles, Avant la première guerre mondiale nous étions considérées comme intellectuellement inférieures, voire ne pouvant pas penser par nous-mêmes! Nous ne pouvions donc pas prétendre aux mêmes droits que les hommes. Les affaires politiques par exemple étaient considérées comme hors de portée de l'esprit féminin, pourtant les femmes doivent obéir aux lois, dans la logique des choses elle devraient avoir le droit de participer à leur création. Mais il n'était pas question que les femmes puissent voter, trouvez-vous cela normal? Pas nous, c'est pourquoi en 1903 a été crée The Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU). Nous avons pour but de faire changer les choses par la force, car autrement personne ne nous écoute, et cette méthode a fait ses preuves. De plus, pendant la guerre nous avons prouvé aux hommes que nous avons la capacité d'occuper des emplois masculins, que nous ne sommes pas aussi sottes et fragiles que nous en avons l'air. Grâce à cela depuis 1918 nous pouvons voter dès 30 ans, mais nous ne sommes pas satisfaites! Ce que nous voulons c'est la parité homme/femme, ce que nous voulons c'est le droit de voter dès l'age de 21 ans. Avant 30 ans, nous sommes considérées comme irresponsables et immatures mais pas les hommes, encore une fois cela n'est pas normal! C'est pourquoi nous avons besoin de vous mesdames car l'union fait la force et vous êtes toutes invitées à venir se joindre à nous pour manifester le 21 juin en face du parlement. Ce n'est pas à négliger votre avenir et celui de vos filles en dépend. Le chemin de l'égalité est proche, nous pouvons y arriver, nous avons déjà changé beaucoup de chose mais il reste à faire... Nous comptons sur vous.
