j'ai quelques traductions a faire:

I gave myself four months, six at the most, to get an acting job. I had no confidence that anyone would ever want to hire me; on the other hand, I was seventeen years old with little education - and nothing to lose. If I failed I would try something else, and someday, hopefully, I would go back to school.

"on the other hand": quel est l'autre traduction que "d'autre part"?

Voici ta traduction:

Je me suis donné quatre mois,six au plus,pour obtenir un travail temporaire.Je n'ai eu aucune confidence de quelqu'un qui voudrait jamais m'engager;d'autre part,j'avais 17 ans avec peu d'éducation - et rien à perdre.Si j'échouais,j'essayerai autre chose,et un jour,si tout va bien,j'irai de nouveau à l'école.

Pour "on the other hand",je ne vois pas d'autre traduction.
