Describing a document

Hello, I have to describe this cartoon and I don't understand what's the artist's vision. 

I don't understand what's he wants to show. I don't know if it's about the obesity problem, the fast food restaurants, and  why the man say " a diet soda too" and not just"a soda too".

Can someone help me please ?

I’m sure you can’t have missed the man in front of the counter, he is obviously overweight, isn’t he?

What about all the stuff on his tray? Do you think it is light health-food?

What about the two waiters’ astonishment?

Why do you think the man asks for “a DIET soda too”? Does he realize how incongruous his question is?

To conclude, what issue does the cartoon hint at? I’m sure you’ve got the right answer by now. Otherwise, reread the first suggestion you made in your first message.
