Merci d'avance pour votre aide I will talk about the concept of myths and heroes. A myth is a traditional story related to the culture of a country which features a legendary being with many qualities. A hero is itself an admired person who helps his people by his courage by performing important functions. We can ask such question: Why myths and heroes are so important today? Heroes or myths may be fictitious ... In class we studied James Bond, a seductive British spy created by Ian Fleming that protects people by fighting the bad guys. James Bond has been played by many actors in numerous films and we see in this film that the hero adapt to all situations and it invests to fight vilains. Also, some myths or fictional heroes can convey a message denouncing through propaganda as Captain America, which during the Cold War has been over many posters to fight against the German dictatorship of Hitler and Soviet communism. Fictional heroes are nice but the real heroes are better in my opinion because they really change the world. Some Enlightenment philosophers like Voltaire, the great builders of new technologies such as Ford and artists like Bob Marley are mostly considered heroes because they innovated and convey messages leading to a better world. My great hero is like Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela was one of the historic leaders of the fight against discrimination of blacks in South Africa. He fought against separation and inequality between whites and blacks better known as "apartheid." In wanting to find a solution to stop this injustice it quickly became an enemy of the government. He was imprisoned for 27 years and has never betrayed his good intentions, even when the white government offered to negotiate his freedom. He won his fight and was president in 1994. Through his pacifist Mandela shares is considered a hero in the world. To conclude, whether fictional or real heroes and myths play a key and fundamental role in our world because it contributes to the development of a better world. They are therefore very important.
