Etudes supérieures: projet ERASMUS

Hello tout le monde, 

j'aimerai passer ma troisième année de licence dans une université à l'étranger via le programme Erasmus et je dois pour cela rédiger une lettre de motivation en anglais. Je vais faire la demande pour 2 universités différentes, j'ai combiné les deux lettres ensemble ci-dessous pour faciliter la correction. Pourriez-vous m'aider à corriger les erreurs afin de pouvoir présenter quelque chose de correct à l'université étrangère.

Letter of motivation for an academic year at the University of Mannheim in Germany / Kent in England (Program Erasmus).


Dear Sir, Madam,

I have spent many summers in different countries to have language courses (Spain, England, Malta, USA), and I think now it is high time for me to spend a year studying abroad.
Attracted by traveling and meeting new people, I accommodated almost weekly since September 2015 foreign students (German, Colombian, Spanish, Japanese, American, Danish, Israeli, Moroccan ...) for a night or two in my home in Reims (couch surfing) and with whom I use to talk a lot about travels and studies. All these meetings have given me even more desire to go abroad and to learn a lot of new things.

I am currently studying at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardennes in the second year of a Bachelor in Foreign Languages (English / Spanish with German option and former Russian), I would therefore like to integrate your University of Mannheim / Kent in order to achieve an academic year via the Erasmus program.

To best prepare me for a career in the field of languages, international relations and / or interpreting, traveling abroad is a real springboard for me. By the Erasmus program and the courses offered at your university that are appropriated with the courses I have in France, I will have the opportunity to improve my language knowledge and to rediscover a worthy culture that interest me a lot and that I really appreciate.
Indeed, I came to four times with my College in the west of Germany (Köln) and I was immediately very well welcomed by its inhabitants. / I went several times in southeast England with my cousin who has been living and working now for several years in the southeast of England, not far from your university. I was charmed by the German/British lifestyle, German/British cities, the kindness of the people and the charm of the region and its language. To be back for a full year there would be a real pleasure.

As curious as motivated, I shall profit personally but also professionally from this experience. I also see this stay in a foreign university as an essential step in my graduate studies and a major asset in building my career.

I would be very grateful if you consider my application and give me a chance to participate in the Erasmus program at your University, which would mark my future professional and personal development.
