P: What a wonderful day, Sam! I’m glad that you and Mary are now married. S: It wouldn’t have been possible if you haven’t paid Mrs Bardell damages. P: Yes, I realized it and it is one of the reasons I decided to pay so that we can all go out this horrible prison. S: I just want to thank you once again for this. I know that it was difficult to you. P: Yes, it was a matter of principle for me but only fools never change their minds, is it not? S: You’re absolutely right. I’m very grateful to you. P: You’re welcome. It was the best think to do! Otherwise, the bride is very beautiful! S: Yes, she’s incredibly beautiful, intelligent and so sweet. I’m fond of her. P: I’m happy for you. Mary is the best things that ever happen to you. S: Yes, she changes my life! What about you? P: Me? S: Are you currently in love? P: Oh no! I’m too old for this! S: There is no age for love! P: Perhaps… But I’ve no time for that. A wife would complicate my life. S: But love brings so much. P: It’s your point of view! S: You will change your mind when you meet your soul mate! P: I love my life such as it is. I don’t need a wife to be perfectly happy. S: Perhaps, but you never know what could happen in the future. P: Absolutely but I would be the first surprised! Otherwise, the marriage ceremony was very emotional. S: Yes, it’s true. Mr Pickwick, I want to thank you for helping me to organize and to contribute to the marriage. It wouldn’t be so perfect without your help. P: But it’s normal, you’re the best valet I never had and a trusted friend. You helped me many times. S: It was my job. P: Sam, you know that I can’t stay living by Mrs Bardell. I found recently an attractive house in London. S: Great!!! P: The house is enormous (?). I would need more than one person to help me. S: Yes… P: So, if Mary accept, there is enough place for you, Mary and even some children. S: Mr. Pickwick, you’re too generous with us. Mary will be so happy! We accept, of course! P: So, let’s have a drink to celebrate this. S: What a good idea! Let’s go!

S: It wouldn’t have been possible if you hadn’t paid Mrs Bardell damages.concordance des temps, pareil qu'en français. P: Yes, I realized it and it is one of the reasons why I decided to pay so that we could all get out from this horrible prison. S: I just want to thank you once again for this. I know that it was difficult to you. P: Yes, it was a matter of principle for me but only fools never change their minds, is it not don't they? Le pronom utilisé dans le "tag" doit respecter le nombre du sujet (fools = pluriel = they) S: You’re absolutely right. I’m very grateful to you. P: You’re welcome. It was the best thing to do! Otherwise, the bride is very beautiful! Même si une seule lettre les différencie, ne confonds plus think, le verbe penser/réfléchir et thing, la chose. S: Yes, she’s incredibly beautiful, intelligent and so sweet. I’m fond of her. P: I’m happy for you. Mary is the best thing that ever happened to you. concordance encore S: Yes, she changes my life! What about you? P: Me? S: Are you currently in love? P: Oh no! I’m too old for this! S: There is no age for love! P: Perhaps… But I’ve no time for that. A wife would complicate my life. Mr Pickwick, I want to thank you for helping me to organize and to contribute to the marriage. It wouldn’t have been so perfect without your help. concordance toujours P: But it’s normal, you’re the best valet I never had and a trusted friend. You helped me many times. Attention : que j'aie jamais eu n'est pas négatif = ever S: It was my job. P: Sam, you know that I can’t stay living by Mrs Bardell. I found recently an attractive house in London. S: Great!!! P: The house is very large/ enormous (?). I would need more than one person to help me. S: Yes… P: So, if Mary accepts, there is enough place for you, Mary and even some children. Relis-toi toujours ! S: Mr. Pickwick, you’re too generous with us. Mary will be so happy! We accept, of course! P: So, let’s have a drink to celebrate this. S: What a good idea! Let’s go!
