Exprimer la même idée à l'aide du schema "there + modal + be" ( ou "there + modal + have been" )

Exemples : I'm sure there's a mistake ---> There must be a mistake

I'm sure there was mistake ---> There must have been a mistake

1. Perhaps there was a lot of fog --> modal : may

2. It's a pity that there aren't two hospitals in this city --> modal : shouldn't

3. I'm sure there were many casualties --> modal : must

4. I'm sure there's a telephone box near here --> modal : must

5. Take your macs, perhaps there'll be a shower --> modal : would

6. I can't believe there was a mistake --> modal : couldn't

7. It's a pity that there weren't more people at the concert --> modal : shouldn't

8. Perhaps there's no room at the inn --> modal : may

9. Perhaps there was no room at the inn --> modal : may

10. We were lucky, there wasn't a long queue outside the cinema --> modal : might
