Voila j'ai un texte a traduire en anglais pour lundi.

He hurried away, hoping he would come back . He tried to think that he liked the country he was leaving , that it would be better to have a farmhouse and live there with Margaret Dirken than to serve drinks behind a counter in the Bowery. He did not think he was telling her a lie when he said he was coming back. Her offer to forward his clothes touched his heart , and at the end of the road , he stood and asked himself if he should go back to her.

Il s'enfuit, en espérant qu'il reviendrait. Il a tenté de penser que le pays sera aimé qu'il quittait qu'il serait mieux d'avoir une ferme et y vivre avec Margaret Dirken. que de servir des boissons derrière un comptoir dans le Bowery. Il ne pensait pas qu'il était en lui disant un mensonge quand il a dit qu'il allait revenir. Son offre de transmettre ses vêtements touché son cœur, et à la fin de la route il s'est levé et lui a demandé s'il devait revenir à elle. Il serait rater le train s'il attendait une minute et il a couru de suite.
