Bonjour à tous en ce dimanche plutôt froid,

J'ai un exposé à faire pour mardi sur un sujet au choix et j'ai choisi de parler d'un film : Mr. Nobody de Jaco Van Dormael.

Pourriez vous me corriger mon texte.

Synopsis:

In February 2092, Nemo Nobody, played by Jared Leto, is 120 years old. He's the dean (doyen) and the mortal last one in a world of immortal. He wakes up and he's questioned about its past, persuaded be always 36 years old. He sees in back flash all its years spent with his wife Anna, played by Diane Kruger... Unless it's Elise (Sarah Polley)... Or Jeanne (Linh Dan Pham).

His fate deceived on the platform of a station, when he was 8 years old, confronted with an impossible choice : leave living in America with her mother or staying in England with his father.

Real or fantasies Adventures, the butterfly effect of a drop (goutte d'eau) or an eggshell (coquille d'oeuf) modified the course of his existence.

[The butterfly effect is an expression which summarizes a metaphor which is sometimes expressed by a question: "Can a simple beating of wings (un battement d'ailes) of a butterfly triggers (déclencher) a tornado in the other end of the world ?]

Mr Nobody is a dramatic movie, even of science fiction, of the Belgian director Jaco Van Dormael. It release on January 13th, 2010. In 2010, the film received the Price of the public to the European Film Awards and the Price André Cavens for the best movie of the year 2010.

Jaco van Dormael took 7 years to wrote Mr Nobody's scenario. It was also the time which was necessary to him to collect the 33 million euro necessary for the shooting.

The director has took as point of departure a short film that he'd realized in 1982. The story talked about A kid who runs behind a train with two possible choices : leave with her mother or with his father. From there, we follow both possible futures. It's from this short film that he decided to write a movie which spoke not only about 2 possible options when we have to choose, but an infinity of possibilities. He built the multitude of possibilities in which appear some 12 possible existences ! A simple drop fallen somewhere on Earth is enough to provoke a series of events all over the world and can change the existence of this little boy.

Mr. Nobody is a movie about the complexity. It's also a movie about the life and about the doubt. But it's above a movie about the choice and the freedom. Jaco van Dormael announces in an interview of numbers questions which fed his movie "Why do we do a choice rather than an other one? Who makes that our life is what she is ? When I'm madly in love (follement amoureux) and when I say myself: "I couldn't live without her", what would have happened if I had not met her ?."

The experience which proposes Mr Nobody is not to choose but experiment everything, to notice at the end which all the possibilites are interesting. The director wanted that the spectator feel it : "There is no good choice or no bad choice but only the way of living them". It's a kind of philosophic tale (conte) without morality rather poetic. He questions the importance of the choices with which everyone is confronted all the time by his life.

But having seen the movie, we can wonder : "Who is Mr Nobody ?" For Jared Leto, "Mr. Nobody is everybody and nobody at the same time. An illusion. The reasult of his own dreams. He represents love, hope, fear, life and death."

I liked this movie. I looked at it 3 times and I don't grow tired of it (se lasser de). I liked the originality of the movie, its construction where everything becomes mix. We ask the question to know which life he really lived and it's only at the end that we understand that it's unimportant.

- Jared Leto is also brilliant in young dad as in old man. He plays these multiple roles with aptly (justesse) and simplicity.

- Diane Kruger is very lovable (attachant) in careless (insouciant), rebel and passionate women.

- Sarah Polley render (rendre au sens d'exprimer, traduire) touching Elise, retreat (enfermer) into the depression. She succeed to play an extremely difficult role and to rend the charming character.

- Linh Dan Pham, as for her, render very well the character who suffers silently.

- Even the teenagers managed to render their sincere characters.

Many feelings due to a simplicity but also to a power in the image, in the words, the gestures, but also in the musics going from Nena to Henry Purcell by way of Pixies.

Navigating ceaselessly (sans cesse) between various genres, stylistic effects and times, the spectator takes an enormous quantity of images in full face, as poetic as disturbing (troublant). Sincere, complex and moving (touchant), Mr Nobody is for me a big moment of cinema.

Ça n'a pas changé ! He wakes up and he's questioned about its his past, persuaded be always he is still 36 years old.- L'adjectif possessif doit être accordé en genre avec le POSSESSEUR.

- À l'avenir, évite de "traduire" en anglais un laïus que tu as d'abord écrit en français. Ça ne sert qu'à te faire perdre du temps inutilement tout en te faisant commettre des impropriétés. Ah ce que je vois, mon devoir était catastrophique Faut se dire qu'il me reste encore 4 mois avant le bac

On me répète depuis 7 ans que j'ai un gros problème avec les temps, mais ça ne veut pas rentrer...

Merci pour les précisions faites à chaque phrase qui m'ont permis de comprendre d'où venaient mes erreurs.
