(my favourite touristic spot) In august 2002, my family and I went to Majorca, in Spain. We were confortably staid at a luxurious hotel, named Romantica. It is in the south of the island, and the village is called Colonia St-Jordi. The weather was very hot and wet. We could go to one of the most beautiful beaches, and it just took 5 minutes to walk there. The sand was almost white, with little shells alongside. In the hotel, I did a lot of activities, like sjölback (a swedish game), football, basketball... Every day, I swam in the heated swimming-pool. The children could go in the mini-disco, which lasted about 2 hours. There was a big game of billiards too, but I'm not so good in this game. As soon as it was 12 hours, people rushed them to the self-service lunch, so good was the food. Therefore you had a large variety of meals : Spanish, French, English, African, etc... I did scuba-diving, the fishes were very beautiful with their tropical colours, and you could see them up to 30 meters. This was due to the clearness of the sand. My best memory was when we visited the Dragon Caves, which are the most famous caves in Europe. Each day, we went to the beach, and once, there were big waves. My brothers and I jumped into them. For all that we were exhausted after the bath, the hotel organized, every evening, a marvelous firework display. Finaly, I think I will not forget these fantastic holidays ! J'espère que quelqu'un pourra corriger mes fautes. Merci d'avance...
