REDACTION 1:

When James arrived in New York, he was dumbstruck by all the tall skyscrapers, because he hadn't seen that before he left. He was astonished by the courtliness of Americans. Even if he had living in the countryside, he felt welcoming by this huge town, which was completely different of theses green plains which brought him happiness, freedom and escape.

Dear Margaret,

I hope you will receive this letter, if it's the case, answer me please. I hope you remember of me, because I can't help thinking of remembrances that we had together.

I'm sorry to have telling you a liar, I knew that I will not come back. I'm very sorry about it. You know it's my biggest regret. I would have to propose to come with me, but I was quite sure that you would be better in Ireland. The things in NYC is totally different, instead of watching stars on the hillside, you would be dumbstruck to see all the skyscrapers lighted up.

I have a new life, here. I was married to a Helen, she passed away 3 years ago, and I have also 2 sons and 2 daughters who got married. I remembered of my promise, that I would marry you before our death. That's why I send you this letter. I'm very apologizing for all the suffering you had. Through the pain, I hope you still love me…

I will go back on the bridge where I see you for the first time. If you want to see me, meet me the 10^th October at 2p.m over the river.

You know, I gave up the idea to see you again, but there was something in me which wanted the contrary. If you will meet me, I promise I will never leave you again. I'm ready to give all my love to you for the rest of my life.

The shape of your eyes and you nose, the way you stare as if you see right through my soul, it's your left hand and the way that it's not quite big as your right which are all part of the list of things that I miss. We were inseparable but apart we've grown.

So …Do you even want me anymore?
