alors voila mon sujet était de raconter l'histoire de "the mayflower" ce que j'ai fais mais j'ai peur que mon anglais ne soit pas correct donc si vous pouviez simplement me corriger les fautes d'anglais que j'ai pu faire ! merci =)

John Robinson approved the suggestion to base a colony overseas. William Bradford was partisan there from the beginning. They armed a ship, recruited some people, and so William and his wife left Leyde in Holland in 1620 aboard Mayflower.

The boat left London in July, 1620, accompanied with another ship, Speedwell, which turned back because of a flight in the hull.

After two stopovers to Southampton on August 5th, 1620 then to Dartmouth, on August 12th, Mayflower left Plymouth on September 6th, 1620.

Following a stopping place to get fresh supplies in Newfoundland with local fishermen, a storm threatened the good progress of the expedition. The bad weather obliged the vessel to approach the banks of America on the cape Cod on the site of the city of Provincetown on the Massachusetts on November 11th, 1620, and not on the river bank Hudson, initial purpose of the journey. They stole the grain, desecrated and plundered graves.

Among 102 occupants of the boat there were thirty five Protestant pilgrims, in search of a place to practise freely their religion; as well as 67 "foreigners". Among them there were John Alden, Myles Standish, William Bradford …

These Europeans were the first colonists to stay so for a long time in New England, where they decided to establish the city of Plymouth on December 25th, 1620. They began the construction of buildings.

To establish the legal order and prevent the increasing fight in rows, the colonists wrote and signed Mayflower Compact

The pilgrims of the Mayflower, the "Pilgrim Fathers", are often considered as the founding fathers of the future United States of America.

The very first European woman to land was Mary Chilton.

On April 5th, 1621 they left Plymouth to return to England. They arrived the 6mai 1621
