Days ago, I learnt the death of Lazare Ponticelli, the oldest French French soldier in World War I. It was 110-year-old. It had fought for France from 1914 till 1915, during the first world war. Lazare Ponticelli was Italian of birth, and had emigrated to France before 1914.

So, as he was not French and to his big regret, he was made to join the Italian army in 1915 to go to fight coremittance against Austrians. It went back in France in 1920, found his brothers and with them founds a firm which became flourishing later.

It acquired nationality French in 1939. Lazare Ponticelli said that he was proud to have fought for France, he was against war, he did not hate the Germans. He was our last witness of this ugly war and our past.

Everybody paid tribute to him, yesterday as well as to all other soldiers died in battle, for freedom.

Personnellement je n'ai pas les connaissances suffisantes pour te corriger, mais une chose me saute aux yeux : ce sont tous les "it" (que je t'ai mis en gras) ! Il me semble que ce pronom sujet est réservé aux choses et Lazare Ponticelli n'en était pas une !! Aurais-tu oublié de te relire ? Je suis sûr que c'est une étourderie de ta part...

De toute façon Anglais ou JRB ne vont pas tarder à passer...

Personnellement, je suis plus que fatigué de lire ce genre d'âneries grossières que tu qualifies très (trop ?) gentiment d'étourderies.
