Bonjour.

Hour glass

This document is a small black and white caricature. This was probably drawn by Bill Greenhead. Maybe it is his surname because “greenhead” let us think about ecology. We can see this drawing on the website www.cartoonstock.com

The background is composed of a black decor. In the middle of this cartoon, an hourglass is standing on an unknown empty place. This is the only object in this drawing. Inside this hourglass, at the top, we can see the earth and some continents like Asia, Europe and Africa. The earth is decomposing in crumbs. The bottom of the hourglass is filling by a thickness of sand or dusts. The earth is falling in crumbs at the bottom of the hourglass.

As the earth is decomposing, we can imagine that the earth has problem link to the time. The caricaturist would probably let us a message throughout this drawing.
On one hand, the cartoonist doesn’t show an optimistic vision of this picture. Maybe he represents the end of the humans lives or the end of the world. It is probably for him our destiny. We born, we live on the earth and we died into dusts.
On the other hand, we can imagine that the author of this cartoon would show the earth’s destruction created by humans. In fact the people are damaging the earth. They make industries which let a bad smoke in the fresh air, they put bad produits in the floor for having the plantations earlier, they use too much the natural sources like Water, they cut forests of trees. Because of all of those things we made pollution so the earth react; the ice is broken and that’s why more and more natural catastrophs touch population all over the world. If we will continue like this, the earth will be destroy so the humans too. We tried to stop the pollution every day but this is difficult (for some societies and industries). The globalization is based on a economy which could destroy the nature. Our societies are based on more and more consommations.
We may assume that the cartoonist have a pessimistic vision about the earths future and consequently the human destiny. He shows us by the hourglass that the earth will finish as crumbs and now the time is running out.

Hour glass (Hourglass)

Because of all of those things we made pollution so the earth react; the ice is broken and that’s why more and more natural catastroph(e)s touch population all over the world. Bonjour,

Quelques petits suppléments en caractères gras noirs.Image IPB

Citation

Maybe it is his surname because “greenhead” lets us think about ecology.

The earth is decomposing in crumbs into pieces.

Citation

The bottom of the hourglass is filling (filled) by with a thickness of sand or dusts. The earth is falling  in crumbs into pieces at the bottom of the hourglass.
Voir au dessus.

Citation

As the earth is decomposing, we can imagine that the earth it has a problem linked to with the time.
- le temps en général =>> Ø

Citation

The caricaturist would probably like to let us a message throughout this drawing.

Citation

On the one hand, the cartoonist doesn’t show an optimistic vision view of this picture.
- on the one hand... on the other hand sont des expressions figées qui prennent le déterminant the.

Citation

Maybe he represents the end of the humans lives or the end of the world. It is probably for him our destiny. We born come into the world, we live on the earth and we died into dusts.
- born ne peut pas s'employer seul. C'est soit we are born to life, soit we we were born.

Citation

On the other hand, we can imagine that the author of this cartoon would like to show the earth’s destruction created by humans.
Sinon, tu écris the destruction of the Earth.

Citation

In fact the people are damaging the earth. They make industries which let a bad smoke out into the fresh air, they put bad produits (stuff/products) into the floor ground for having to get/have the earlier plantations earlier, they use too much the natural resources like water, they fell/cut down forests of trees.

Citation

Because of all of those things we made pollution so the earth reacts; the ice is broken and that’s why more and more natural catastroph(e)s hit/touch populations all over the world. If we will continue this way/like this, the earth will be destroy (will be destroyed), so will the humans too.

Citation

We tried try/endeavour to stop the pollution every day but this is difficult (for some societies companies/firms and industries). The Globalization is based on a (an) economy which could destroy the nature. Our societies are based on consuming more and more. consommations (consummations).
We may assume that the cartoonist have (has) a pessimistic vision view about the earth future and consequently the human destiny. He shows us by the hourglass that the earth will finish as crumbs in pieces and now the time is running out.
Fichier joint  THE.doc   26,5 Ko   1 Nombre de téléchargements
Bonne continuation.
