To be able to appear at the presidential election in the USA, it is necessary be at least 35 years old, to be a born American citizen and to have lived(lain) at least 14 years in the country (and not be candidate in the third mandate(money order)). In the United States, the candidates for the White House have already collected(harvested) 925 000 000 million dollars. Contrary to France, the slightest gift is made public and put on-line(put in line) on the site of the electoral federal Committee(Commission). The amount of the gifts(donations) authorized for a person is over there 2 700 dollars ( 2490 euros). To finance, the American candidates thus resort to "SuperPacs". It is about associations, without direct links with the candidates, which have no limit of gifts.

 

·       Presence of the religion

Contrary to laic France, the religion is an important part in the United States. At the time of taking the oath during the ceremony of nomination, the future president of the United States so swears on the Bible. The omnipresence of the family (model) of the candidate by his/her side on stage is also a notorious difference with France.
